Ambient lighting

Wondering if anyone knows if the coloured interior lighting is an extra on 2014 W222 S class?
I get the on/off icon displayed but can only adjust white brightness, there's no rainbow icon.

Sorry, Tom, just had a look in a W222 S class brochure, dated 01/2014
apparently 7 colour ambient lighting was only
standard on the LWB models, it was an option on the SWB models.
God knows why on a car of that stature but there you go.

Ah thanks for looking it up. Well although it was advertised as an L the dealer was also ambiguous about other options too, I don't think they were being deceitful there's so much to list. Call me daft but I just had a look and I don't think the rear doors look and bigger than standard

Hi all,

I have the three colour ambient lighting, I'm not overly impressed with the brightness, even on full at number 5, it almost seems it’s like an afterthought, is there a way of increasing the brightness via say the engineering menu etc
