ooooeeer Id like one of these...

http://www.mbspares.com.au/www/amg-300CE.html

Bit strange that the original owner bought a £150,000 car and specced it with a cloth interior and zebrano though dontcha think? Actually, on closer inspection, I think its a fake....the arches simply dont look flared enough fo a hammer.

I just want his rear spoiler for now though...perhaps the engine can wait a little longer. :(

It's a manual - I wouldn't touch it with a .....err..... gearstick :p

I was going to say it's a long way to go for a spoiler, but I see where you think local is for a respray so I say nothing :D

tee hee spike, those were the days before AMG spec was available from the dealers :)

I'm guessing that he didn't have much say in the trim level when they only made 25 of them.

I would think that with the lengths they seem to have gone to verify it it is the real thing - it wouldn't have had the same body as the 500 which had the heavily flared arches which may explain why it's not as wide as you'd expect.

Hmmm...maybe but the only hammers I have ever seen had the real wide arches.

GF had an E500 the other day - waiting for parts from Germany - apparently a 3 months wait for the ECU as they were built to order!!!
