Old Skool.....a proper old skool AMG with upgraded 5.0, bodystyling, exhaust, wheels etc.....I LOVE IT!!!

Looks like a stock SL with 17" Aero 1s. Originally period AMG SLs were dechromed and had the AMG kit on them, which i personally didn't like.

Reminds me of my old SL:

Very few R107s came with an AMG bodykit and rightly so.

Utterly horrific.

Its a very nice looking car, but sorry I really dont like the white leather interior.

If you look at the advert, you can see from the power rating that its running an uprated 5.0 (276bhp) which is more than likely due to the AMG cam shaft upgrades that were the most common upgrade on the 5.0 and the AMG exhaust and manifolds.

In terms of the AMG bodykit....remember that back in the 80's there was no stock look for an AMG, ie if you wanted chrome you could have chrome and vice versa, so not every SL came de-chromed and if you just wanted a front spoiler and no side skirts, again no problem.

Reading from the advert it would appear that the leather is light grey....the over exposed photo does make it look white I must admit, which would be a bit pimpish I have to admit!!!!

Still can't help liking it!!!!, especially in Blue Black metallic, which is one of my favourite colours

I believe the post 86 cars had 276BHP as standard, the earlier versions approx 232BHP. I'm pretty sure this was the case.

To be honest it looks like a stock motor with AMG wheels, no other sign of AMG anywhere on the car.

Its a nice car though, i like the W107s, not much goes wrong with them apart from rust.
