Can be expected for the transmission to get up to normal operating temperature

Much longer than many people expect, because it warms up more slowly than water temperature.

Does your car have an oil temperature gauge?

How long is it taking to get up to operating temperature?

Longer in colder weather. It was 3 deg C here today. I did 11 miles before it switched from blue to white. Out of interest the engine oil was up to temperature at 8 miles. In the summer the gearbox reaches temperature before the engine, weirdly. Mine is a C63 FYI

Thanks for the information on yours. Definitely depends on what mode you are sport, sport +, eco, comfort.
I have found that engine oil temperature up to normal in the winter on my C43 is around 6 miles plus. Depending on how your driving.
The transmission oil is much slower.
I have only just got the car, so I am learning
