Actually the original accusations were that anyone who didn't drive a C63 hadn't got any balls and couldn't afford a C63, otherwise they would have one.
This went on for months and was tiresome, but...now the boot appears to be on the other foot, you all start crying.

dieselman - i acknowledge you are a seasoned motoring/mercedes follower with a particular sense of humour and would state that im not crying

i would respectfully suggest my threadstarter is both factual and reasonable

I can't afford a C63, really, but to those who can good luck to them. If I could afford one would I have one, yes, but then that's my heart overuling my old sensible head which says don't be so daft at my age, still view them as desirable though. It seems a shame that fellow Mercedes owners cannot agree that we all drive various models of various ages for various reasons, so perhaps we can all put it to bed and talk about the weather.... Oh dear I seem to have started the winter tyres thing again

In fairness, you do have a point here and it really should stop. However, in return can the said drivers also stop their insults/bad language and general derogatory remarks about drivers of "lesser" (Ho, Ho) cars.

This forum has never experienced any jealousy or remarks about other peoples choice of car, old or new, Mercedes or not, until certain posters started belittling people that drive "lesser" Mercedes models.
Some posters have definitely given the impression they are in some way superior to others.
We've had constant taunts of jealousy and been called w@nkers amongst other things. Eventually something gives.

It's only recently that it was found that the lease rates on C63 are subsidised, which has led to a turning of the tables.

I have previously said that I expected more "roadrage/incidents" type of threads from drivers of "high performance" models, but we never get any...because they only appear to come out of the garage for short periods on special occasions.

If drivers of "such vehicles" could move on from proving a point and get on with driving and having fun, we might all get on rather well..
