AMG cars

I've just realised that over the last couple of weeks I've seen an awful lot more nice cars on my commute.... from memory:

2 SLK55s
1 SL63
1 S65
2 CLS63s

Apart from the SL which was the new, imo messed up look, I've got to say I love the styling on them.

Anyone else seen any particularly nice AMGs kicking around?

I have started cycling to work through central London and see quite a few AMG's avery day - either parked in the wealthy residential areas such as St John's Wood or Marleybone or just being driven around by the uber-rich (I mean the peponderance of very new ones here).

Yesterday I was treated to a couple of drive-bys by an SL 55 - blatting and booming impressivley. Saw two more on the way back plus an SL 63.

Saw a couple of CLK 55's too yesterday.

This morning I saw a Mclaren SLR converible in Aldwych (!)

I often see SL's and CL's tootling around.

Plus loads of non-AMG 500's of various flavours

It's good to see the large capacity petrol V8 is alive and well in central London.

If they're not in AMG's the wealthy Londoners are in 911's, supercharged RR's, Ferraris and Bentlys.

On a side note I haven't noticed many BMW M's and Audi S's/RS's.
