AMG Driving day derby

Just thought i'd post up how impressed i was with Mercedes Derby and their AMG driving event on the 14th & 15th Nov. It was a really good way to talk to fellow AMG owners and to drive some great cars with no sales pitches in sight!

My dad and i got to test drive the new S Coupe 63 along with with the A & GLA 45's. All whilst driving spiritedly against other AMG's.

I must say that out of all of the cars on test, the C63 still gave me the biggest smile as it out dragged the GLA 45 i was driving!

I was more than happy to come home in mine!

Do they charge you for these days or is it soft sell on the next car?

I drove that S Class Coupe 63 (but at Greenoaks, again a *superb* event - Thanks). Wow !!

I booted it at about 40mph and it spun it's rear wheels quite happily. Thats because it has 900Nm of torque. Thats 200Nm more than my ML63
