I know you stated you are after an AMG ducktail, but I thought maybe this could be of use to you, its not a ducktail, but its still a genuine AMG bootspoiler for the W124, looks very subtle to me, maybe quite rare too?.... item number:330209363611.

No, I sold it on again.. some guy in the US bought it off me for rather a lot of money.

There's also one ffor the 201 that looks the same but again wont fit.

Or as an alternative, here's another variation on the AMG W124 Boot Lid spoiler.........came off my 300E Saloon and I'm just about to advertise it. Quite a rare spoiler.....not seen one like this for years!

Bootlid comes free with the spoiler

I picked up a brand new genuine AMG ducktail spoiler off ebay last year, keep looking and im sure you will find one, also keep your eye on the German ebay as well.

Does anyone know if MB still make these parts? They're on the russian EPC but have no part numbers with them.

In the event of an accident an insurance company is expected to replace these bits, MB might still make them or at least hold some stock for this purpose.

Someone needs to investigate this. Alternatively someone needs to get hold of a set and make replicas, I'm sure there is some money in that

I already enquired fro MB in Chelsea last year, all AMG parts for a W124 are available but on special order from Germany. I was told there are none in stock but can be made to order, about 12 to 15 weeks wait and a silly price tag. Price for a AMG spoiler is £268.33 plus vat.

No, the one he is after looks like a ducktail shape. You'd know what I mean when you see one.

I tried getting one new and these items are no longer made - nor could I find any stock.

Second hand ones sometimes go significantly over that price on ebay.

Pattern ones are made by a US company still.. cant remember the name right now. Will try and find it.

Ive never likes the ducktail spoiler... infact i think im going off spoilers altogether..

Ive got an AMG one for the SEC...even had it all prep'd to go on the car then decided it just didnt look right!

Personally I think the Duck Tails really suit the W124 and the W201 very well, especially if they have a full bodykit fitted
