AMG Engine Builder mystery

This is unsolvable.......?

I need reassuring that my new C63 has not been built by the office junior one Friday lunch.

I have seen the AMG builder list thingy (the video with the plates), but cannot see ANY reference to anything which even looks like my guy anywhere...!!

It LOOKS like 'Florian Brader'...?

Please help this is driving me mad!!

You will be fine I just found him on linkedin, he is very experienced in fact he came from Lancia where he was previously responsible for rust prevention during the 80's and moved on to Mercedes in the 90's doing the same role. For some reason he was moved to AMG when someone said what harm can it do "one man one engine"

The car seems to motor ok, and if it breaks its under warranty - just interested that's all.

on a serious note i think that list is pretty old and at least half the engineers on their have moved on and replaced, just enjoy it!

The C63 engines are all done by a Dutch bloke now, Hertz Van Rental.

Is it just me that fails to see any practical benefit of the one man one engine philosophy? To me it is just marketing b.s. that probably seems interesting after about 5 pints on a Saturday night when c*ck waving about how many cylinders and how much power a car has. (Don't get me wrong though, I'd rather be stuck in this sort of bragging session than one with a prius owner about MPG)
