Amg Parts direct from Germany

Hi has anyone purchased parts direct from Amg Germany ?

Is it possible to even do that?

I thought all parts are ordered through our UK dealers

I assume you mean AMG (the factory) rather than a Mercedes dealership?

I'm not sure you can buy parts from the factory. There's a gift shop and they do bespoke customisation in the workshops, but I'm not aware that you can buy parts.

I require new rings but the dealership will only supply the rings with new pistons ,also to have new valve buckets you have to purchase the lot.I was told it's possible to order direct from AMG but I can't find a contact number.Ive tried going through the dealership and MB uk but no joy so far.
New pistons would be nice but there's nothing wrong with the existing ones and potentially a good saving to spend on other bits.

I have worked for Mercedes-Benz for 26 years in parts, originally with cars and now the last few years on the commercial side with vans and trucks.
I have never experienced anyone purchasing direct from either AMG or Brabus as it all very covert and every time anyone has tried to do so via Mercedes-Benz UK they get referred back to dealers.
