AMG steering wheel

For some reason I just cannot fathom, I want this steering wheel in the SL. I can only presume it's because of the Tamiya model of the SL60 I made as a child

Not withstanding the issues with lack of airbag and associated warning lights, I haven't seen one for sale for many many years now, nor do I have any idea where to start looking for one.

Any ideas?

you can get a special boss from MOMO that doesnt trigger the SRS light to come on.

You're probably right

Looks like the Momo boss for the SL is not an airbag version...hopefully a W202 one will fit instead. Fingers crossed...

yep... another rare piece from talbir... had to be done for the widebody..

At this rate the widebody is gonna have more AMG logos than Tudu's car!

Well, as much as I like the idea, I wasn't going to pay £180-odd for it.

Oh yes, I'm sure it's worth that, but I just wasn't prepared to pay that much for the "idea"; I'm not totally comfortable with the idea of disconnecting the airbag.

If it was going on something like your SEC (or an older 129) where an airbag isn't an issue, it would have been mine no matter what.
