I have seen these:

Don't know much about spacers. My concern is these don't have a lip, so potentially the weight of the wheel could be more on the bolts (which is baaad). Any thoughts?

All you need to do, is make sure the spacers are hubcentric, meaning that they sit on the rear hubs nice and snuggly.
Hubcentric spacers do have a lip to locate the wheel.
It'll literally be an extension of the hub.
The wheels will then sit onto the lip of the spacer.

I've used lots of different types of spacers in the past on my old CLK.
They're fine to use.
You only need a 10-12mm spacer.

That is Satin yeh. I didn't want matte like everyone else but at same time didn't want gloss so its perfect somewhere between the two.

I'm thinking of getting mine painted? powder coated? black with polished? diamond cut? lip.

All those question marks are intentional - what combination of the above are the original factory AMG wheels as seen on some cars? Thanks

Powder coated Matte black with diamond cut lip are factory I believe.

I wanted to go for the factory look too.
