An expensive 124 E36 AMG LHD

Some nice photos there......if only all premium sellers took the same effort.

Is it LHD?

looks a normal right hooker to me...lovely looking car but is the price not a tad optimistic (or is this what they really go for given so few were made)?

Gorgeous car but I'm not convinced it's £17.5K.

Whats with the boot decal on the engine??? apart from the Engine its exactly the same as my car (lol i know thats a big difference but £17k???) maybe i should look into a 3.6 transplant :D Oh and wheres the Duck tail spoiler i'm sure to be a complete AMG kit you need the ducktail or was this opitional?

K

PS i think its a members car i remember seeing the project thread on here, i remember the arches were widened at the front and the aerial hole was flushed shut. LINKY TO POST

AMG badge on the engine is normal but it should be the older one piece badge, same for the badge on the boot. The engine cover has been repainted, looks good though.

The ducktail spoiler wasnt part of the W124 AMG kit but was an optional extra.

Seems a shame IMO to modify such a rare care but its tastefully done at least. Apart from those silll covers!

Not a big fan of the ducktail on gen2 kit.On gen1 it looks ok

That will never sell at the price, but fantastic looking car.

What a stunning 124! It's very rare, but I agree the price is a little much - but then again, I guess the reasoning "go find one the same for cheaper" applies!

I know if I had £17k to spend on a rare car, I'd have no hesitation whatsoever!

Also, does anyone know if those brakes have been upgraded? They look too big to have fitted behind the standard 17" AMGs!

Beautiful looking car, but hard to value as it's a one off.

Does seem like a lot of money for a 124 but you only need to find one person who wants to buy it for that sort of cash to secure a sale - I'm sure there's someone out there!

Love the presentation and photos - at least they've put the effort in for the money they're asking :)

The front brakes look like 6pot AMG,and the alloys are 18s.

Well spotted! I certainly missed that at the time and it's a pity that we've heard little from Bits G since, although he is still looking in to the forum.

Certainly looks a beautifully presented and (largely) subtly modified coupe, though personally, I simply don't like AMG bodykits. Condition and rarity is all and I reckon he'll get top dollar if it is as good as it looks.

I'm gratified to note that my engine bay is cleaner...

It looks stunning, although i agree with the others that the price is a bit high.

I was wandering how long it would take to see my motor on this forum (and get comments about the price and sills)!!!
The badge on the engine was updated - I didn't like the old one and they did come with a badge originally!

With respect to the price - let us wait and see I am sure I am not the only chap who is crazy about cars!!

Your car is lovely mate, well done. What some people don`t understand is the rarity of the car, especialy as rhd.I love it but i would be more tempted if it was salon, but good luck with the sale and i`m sure you`ll get what you are asking.

If you contact C & N customs they will be more than happy to help with any body mods. They are a really nice bunch and very professional and as with all things you get what you pay for, so they are not the cheapest, but undoubtedly one of the best as you can see from my car:D They managed to get the whole kit and arches to flow just right. Even the side skirts that are normally straight were modified to curve outwards, check out the pics on the Eclectic cars website.

Onto the next project!
