I worked in garages a long time ago now, wether it be main dealers(volvo, jaguar,bmw)o r small indies...any mechanical work was road tested..hard acceleration was expected(misfires etc)...but if we were seen mistreating or driving irresponsibly.....expect a written warning or the sack!!!it is someones baby...you are expected to treat it with respect...so it should be now..
I have no issues about a good run in my car being serviced, the chap who takes care of my Allard regularly pushes it close to the limit (of the engine!) on a long run and we have found several issues because of it.
While I suspect the poster is a paranoid loon it does seem to me that MB, once again, seems to lack even basic notions of customer handling.
