Due to a bereavement I have been asked to dispose of two sets of WW1 medals.
The medals have no family attachment to me and I have merely agreed to sell them.
Having looked on Ebay, it would seem that a copy of the soldier's medal records is desirable and these are available through Ancestry and possibly other sites.
I don't want to join Ancestry (despite their trial period) and I was wondering if anybody here who is already a member would be willing to download the two men's records and forward them to me as an e-mail attachment.
Unlike WW2 medals, those from the Great War have a name and number on them so there will be no need for a long search.
Any help will be much appreciated.
