...it transpires that traffic growth statistics used to justify low-traffic neighbourhoods (LTNs) were incorrect

"This week, a review of the Government’s Minor Road Traffic Estimates’ report, whose findings were frequently used to justify the schemes, found that the DfT had significantly over-counted the rise in traffic on residential streets between 2009 and 2019.
In London, where figures suggesting an almost 60 per cent rise in minor road traffic and a 72 per cent rise on the smallest roads had been widely cited, there had in fact been no increase at all over the decade, the new data show.
A previously published increase from 6.6 billion vehicle miles in 2009 to 10.4 billion in 2019 has been revised to eight billion in both years."

I am one of those many people who are being inconvenienced on daily basis by the new restrictions regarding through-traffic in residential neighbourhoods.

But at the same time, I do recognise that these measures help improve air quality and reduce accidents involving pedestrians (the latter is probably the reason why zero-emissions vehicles are not exempt).

As for the restrictions being supported by false data... this is bad, obviously. But even if there was no increase in recent years in through-traffic in residential neighbourhoods, I still think the restrictions on through-traffic is a good idea

(Not a popular view on a motoring forum, I guess)
