So I thought I would save a few quids and SORN the Viano, to retax it before the price hike tomorrow.
But I can't because now it's SORNed I've to wait 5 days.

So now not legal on't road, and when I retax I'll still pay the higher rate, and tax for a whole month regardless.

I thought these things were electronically instant, that'll teach me.

From what I see I hoped to save a whole 15 quids.
5 days tax for a mo mo I shouldn't use is less than £6.
Not worth the effort as it turns out.
