Another 500E

I so miss the Silver 500E that now belongs to Jay....

So i got myself a replacement....very rare colour of Spruce Green, with cream interior.

This car is very highly optioned - climate control, rear electric blind, centre armrest phone, pass airbag, door speakers, BOSE sound system, heated seats etc etc.

I desparately wanted this colour - but very hard to find. Thankfully i found a mint example, untouched, all original.

I don't have the time at all....but somehow they all get their fair share of mileage through the year. Ironic that i get a train to work....

I struggle to make use of 3 cars.

It's easy emough with the ML and the C200... I use the ML for short trips, for going to work and for moving big things, and I use the C200 for going out in the evening (because my wife can drive it home) and for long trips (because it's far more relaxing on the motorway).

It's the SLK that gets ignored. Hence there's only 31,000 miles on an 11 year old car.

Firstly, it's garaged over the winter, so it needs the battery sorting out when the sun comes out. (I won't use a trickle charger for the fire risk... the garage is right under a bedroom)

Secondly, the C200 is usually parked right in front of the garage door.

I just wish I had a garage like Talbir's.............

Lovely car in all respects. Even like the colour combination...........

But I hate driving a LHD drive car in the UK. Its just so wrong.

But thats just me I guess.................

Indeed...despite commuting to work on the GSA somehow I've managed to rack up 18k in the Civic since buying it a year ago. God knows how

Bumpers don't differ between US and Euro on 500e's.
