Hi, I’ve got a 2015 e220 bluetec - having a nightmare troubleshooting the AC.

When I start the car and press AC, the light stays on for a short time then goes off. No cold air at all. Thereafter if I press it again it blinks 3 times then goes off.

Error code attached.

So far I’ve tried
1) regas
2) changed entire sam module
3) reset via OBD console - compressor voltage still shows zero, but mechanic said compressor works when manually switched on

Already spent hundreds on diagnostics but it has led nowhere.

Greatly appreciate if anyone can help.

Ideas I was thinking - maybe wiring? pressure sensor? valve stuck as it hasn’t been used?

thanks!

I think the error says pretty much that? You need to check the wiring..

Thanks - I had a quote from a car electrician who said it’ll be £200-500 minimum for them to take it apart and trace the signal end to end. Is there any easier diy option to check things initially? Maybe just the end points?

Hi, don't have a solution to your issue i'm afraid, but did just experience same thing. Bought 2015 e220 Blutec this morning. AC was fine on test drive, and for about 30 mins, but driving home (hot hot day) sitting in traffic, AC turned off and wont come back on. Just get the 3 lights. No error code. Wondered if anyone had any advice, based on that sequence (i.e. super hot day, idling in traffic). Hoping I haven't overload/blown anything. Cheers. Steve.

You need to check what fault codes there are present in climate control units and then check whats shuts off ac compressor
