Another dumb question

If i was going to get someone to change my tappets (230 ce 102 engine) what bits would i need to get ?

Sorry mate couldn't resist.

And possibly a rocker cover gasket.

Don't forget the small pads that the rocker acts upon. From memory there are 2 sizes.

Aren't they hydrolic on these cars? Would have just exected new shims to quiten things up a bit.

In the garage we used to replace the hydraulic tappets, metal pads (these are not shims) and rocker cover gasket.

And don't forget you need a "decent fitter" to fit them armed with feeler guages.
