E320 Turbo Technics
The E320 TT has been sat in the garage for ages so I decided to get it insured so I can start using it. So, how much was the insurance?...

Fully comp on a Mercedes E320, imported from Singapore with twin turbos, modified suspension and non-standard alloys. One non-fault claim but no speeding tickets. £200 excess and agreed value of £6000....

....

....

£368.95 :bannana:

Read and weep :D:D:D

Fully comp, protected NCD, total xs £500, valued @ £6k ;), 30 days European cover, mileage limited to 6k, locked up and immobilised, etc, etc,

£164.45 :bannana:

(AA Insurance Services, using SAGA).

Adrian, thats bloody cheap!

I need to see your car, hopefully at Ollys GTG?

How quick do you think the 0-60 on it is?

I don't have an immobiliser and he said it would have been much, much lower without the mods. :p
I'm beginning to think I should have tried to agree a higher value though, oops.

Yeh, I might try to make Ollys. 0-60? Well, let's just say it should be quicker than an E36. :D

I thought mine was good but not as good as your prices..

Full NCD protected - £100 xs - 13,000 miles a year value £15k (like I would get that ha ha) £315..Full EU cover.

very good figures out there.

Are those fixed agreed values backed up by 6 recent photos ???????????

Yes, I have to take some pictures and return them with the insurance paperwork.

I dont doubt that, just want to see how much difference it makes. I plan to TT the E36, I just want to know how it alters the engine response.

I'll do my best to get to Ollys. It would be nice to have a chat about it all in person.

With Admiral, my '06 E320cdi estate AND '08 Saab Convertible 1.9ttid, together on their multi-car policy: £580!

Probably age (over 40) and no points/accidents helps!
