Another R129 roof issue but with an srs code

Afternoon,

a couple of years with no issues ….

Windows go down
Rear bow lifts
Tonneau cover won’t lift, it appears to pull itself downwards.
Open it manually fold the roof back by hand.
It is a 1993 car so 16 pin.

the only code I can get is from port 6

8 flashes - SRS voltage supply interrupted (circuit r15). No dash lights are on

any ideas on that one ??
would that stop the roof from operating or am I looking at a new controller ?
