Yeah , it's nice ...

What sort of kit is on it ? those aren't standard side skirts ....front valance looks almost c43 ish ...

Looks chunkier ..... don't like the wheels though ...

I do like the wheels but not the tinted headlamps.

In general I like it.

Where is it, the plate says Germany but is it? The window wind deflectors say Oz or NZ to me, though it's LHD..

hey! yeah, I joined up...
the wheels are definitely an acquired taste, i must admit. i like them because they're 'OEM-ish', i was ideally looking for an 18" replica of the stock wheels but the ones I found are long out of production, so i settled on these.

the lights are off eBay, but i spent a good long while gutting them and retrofitting Acura projectors and an aftermarket HID kit. I had wanted to do the clear lights, but they show the projectors too much, and the W124 doesn't look good with projectors in my opinion - like an alien, or terminator 2 or something. the tinted lights hide the projectors nicely, especially since i made them black.

anyway, nice to be on here and hopefully i'll be able to contribute some as well!

these are the lights with and without the flash on the camera, and the cutoff on the projectors

Welcome Zedstyle! Thanks for the pics. Well looked after example. The wheels are as you say, an aquied taste, but I think I just aquired it! They're very bold, but there's something a bit Rolls Royce Phantom about them :bannana:

Hope you enjoy the forum!

Welcome to another whale! :)

Although that being said, I'd avoid Gloucestershire during the rain season in it, whale or not, you don't want it to start floating .

The wheels aren't my cup of tea, but each to their own! :)

and the $60,000 question..whare are you Zed..?

I see snow so maybe it is the Mercedes homeland after all.

Hi Zed,
Welcome to a very nice forum and I'm sure you will quickly feel at home.

Thanks for letting me post the pictures.

thanks!
I've done every single thing on my car myself short of putting the tires on the rims, installing the bilsteins, and the actual painting of the kit (i actually did paint it the first time round, but it turned out badly!). put everything together myself, including complete stereo overhaul with a flip-out DVD screen.
Dieselman, i'm in the US...

Welcome to the forum. Nice car.

He's from USA

www.MBWorld.org

section 124

The lower lip is a WALD add-on. They are quality Japanese kits and do several versions for 124's (the UK agent is the outfit in Hertfordshire).

There is a US e-bayer that sells the front lip for something like $240 which is cheap, but will not post worldwide.
