As usual the forum experts have provided the answer! Last night my near side door lock began to 'bounce', seeking guidance It appears to be a very common problem requiring the lock unit to be replaced (currently on order).
Now for the advice side, whilst searching the forum the majority of responses referred to the 'C' class with lots of hints and tips re door card removal and drilling of rivets etc. Has anyone completed this work on a 2003 E class? What can I expect? Any hints and tips would be greatly appreciated, as always, as if it is pretty straight forward I will have a bash at it myself.
