One that's too slow…
At www.safeplate.co.uk they are selling a spray from the US that claims to make plates unreadable if flashed. Has anyone tried this stuff? Does it work?

All sorts of odds n sods
not heard of it, but i expect it's probably the same as those anti-reflective plates they had at one stage, which alledged that you'd never be captured by a gatso ....

Oh, how they were wrong .... !

Somebody once told me that if you spray the rear number plate with hair spray it has the same effect, sorry but I am not brave enough to test the theory, any one tried it?

Hair spray, two cross direction couts of photomount glue, you name it.

Makes it "appear" blanked to standard flash photography (as your plate naturally does sometimes anyway), but the Police have fancy software to alter the image that makes the letters stand out better than normal.
