Guys,
Having just put some decent tyres on, that don't have sidewalls like a flaccid member, I'm loving the extra grip and sharper turn-in.
Obviously we are talking about 6' 6" high SUV here, so all things are relative..
Unfortunately, I've also noticed a very unpleasant rocking from side to side (oscillation) when one side wheel hits a bump that the other doesn't....
I'm guessing that the anti-roll bars ("sway bars" in the US) are a bit too thin or just not stiff enough, particularly at the back, where it seems to be more noticeable.
Does anyone know if the AMG version has stiffer Anti roll bars, and are they a bolt-on replacement for the standard ones?
Do such things as stiffer ARBs even exist on the tuning market for MLs?
Or could I be compleatly wrong in blaming the ARBs and should ber looking elsewhere? The Dampers(Shocks) have done 50000 miles, and appear to be working well in other respects.
