Anti Theft Alarm - Retrofit - W213/C238 ?

I did see a thread somewhere discussing retrofitting a W213/C238 with an original MB anti-theft alarm and I raised
this issue when paying a visit to my service garage the other day. From what I understand, the function
is already in the software but I was infomed that the center top console (behind the interior mirror)
had to be replaced with a unit that did have the necessary push-button(s) and also that in order to have
a visual indication, one of the push-button bars in the lower center consolde needed to be replaced
wit a version equipped with a dedicated LED that flashes after having activated the alarm system.

Apart from this, the vehicle option list needs to be updated and the alarm system functionality
added.

Any one having retro fitted his/hers car according to this?

Left door button wasn't being pressed when closing the door the was the issue in my car.

Check with www.comandonline.co.uk in Lightwater, they will most likely be able tell you if it can be done and how much it would cost.
