Recently bought an e55. Few small problems I intend to work through to get her completely perfect again.

Arimatic symptoms:

Rear or front of the car won't raise.
Rear is lower than the front.

Dash says "car raising" then the visit work shop
Relay replaced as old one was dead.

Pump does not engage. But when hard wired pump works.

If I bypass the relay the pump comes on and stays on but
the car still dosnt raise (avoided overheating so turned it off affter 30 seconds.

Lights on the button work.

Also not sure if related but the headlights are constantly going up and down at night independent of eachother and never level out.

All fuses in the car checked even large ones under driver carpet.
Does the system go to sleep and need to be reset by star?

Any advice appreciated.

Sounds like a level sensor fault. Need star to be sure really

+1 on the level sensor/s.
Front ones are easy to see if there is any physical problem, broken arm etc. Rear one not so easy.
Yes, the light issue is related to the level sensors as that is what they get their datum from.

As stated, Star will get your questions answered.

Its been scanned and comback with front level sensor.

Yet the rear is low ??

incorrect reading on front will adjust rear as well, get it replaced and see how you get on
