Morning All
My wife’s IPad is has just been updated with the latest update and we’ve got problems with the email.
Basically a lot of the mail boxes have gone, no spam and more importantly no saved email.
we have tried everything hard reset, logging in and out of her email account still the same. Been onto Apple support but couldn’t seem to solve the issue excel take it to an Apple shop. It is a BT email account.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
 
Have you tried downloading the BT Email app and logging in with that?
 
Have a look on the webmail portal to see if it is an issue with BT

Delete and reinstall the app if there is no issue
 
The bit app works fine, it’s just the email tab on the iPad.
we e been loyal Apple customers in the past phones etc but now thinking of using Android products
 
You have to pay BT now to get email 'outside' of their webmail log in. Eg, on Apple's own email application.
 
Apple are notorious for effectively disabling existing apps from third parties when they upgrade their operating systems---technically they are not responsable of course and usually the third party eventually gets round to updating their software/app to work with the new operating system but Apple should at least warn the end user about this possibility because effectively they are using the end user as a software developer/tester- coup de grace is when they stop o/s software updates for older hardware meaning new apps designed for newer o/s wont work when downloaded rendering the older hardware unsupported.
 
It works fine on my iPad with the same update, just wierd.
