I've been playing for 25 years or more, but don't consider myself better than average.

Anybody here play online? Or fancy doing so?

I’ve never played backgammon and know nothing about the game.

However, always happy to learn new things. I’ll have ya a wee game Chris. :)

A friend regularly invited me to his club for dinner (which of course he paid for) and then would invite me to play backgammon. I normally folded each time I'd got to the cost of dinner. Oddly, he never returned the compliment when invited to mine. Dinner stopped rapidly thereafter...

The thing about Ant, Shoozz, is that he's always there for you. Priceless in my book.

I’m on the Greek mainland at the moment and I love watching the old boys playing Backgammon.

I've played backgammon since I was at Art College in 1978.

I taught my wife when on holiday four years ago - before we were even engaged - and now she beats me about 30% of the time!

I'm not keen on playing online - too often I have found the other player gives up and goes off line when the game goes against them.
