Your service content is determined by your vehicle age and mileage. This may be displayed on your vehicle Dashboard as the A, B, C, D, E, F, G or H Service. These will be converted to an A Service (Minor) or a B Service (Major) on the service sheet for Retailer reference.

To see what's included in this service, please click here for the service sheet, including the list of required parts.

The fixed price service package includes all maintenance items required in line with the manufacturer's service schedule. A check of the service history will be made on the day of servicing to ensure that items such as brake fluid change were not performed on the previous visit.

Any chance to get a better price list at one of the above MB Specialist ?

If you're planning on owning the car for three years go with a service plan now, then you get B, A, B service and save more money than doing it after on approach to the next A service

Unfortunately this registration is not eligible for the Mercedes-Benz Service Care scheme. Please contact your local Mercedes-Benz Retailer

Don't know why...

Just tried it and the website isn't working, maybe give them a call or pop in and ask. I'm sure they'll do it for a three year old car?

What about Halfords ?
They offer me a Major Service + Fully Synthetic Oil for only 302 pounds

?

Dear god, no!

Stick with MB or a reputable Indy

Recently had my van serviced at Halfords, the loan vehicle was one of the mechanics own Vauxhall corsa... which came with half an eaten pack of Walkers sensations, bonus! They didn't notice the illegal tyres on the rear or mention anything about the dodgy balljoint. Steer clear

If you're going to do that you may as well buy and oil/air/fuel filter and some oil from Costco and give your local garage £50 to cover the labour.

I've never really understood why having fluids and filters changed costs so much in the UK?

If you're willing to go to Harrow take it to Wayne Gates. Terry will look after you.

Hi, do you have Indy's contact number please?

Thanks

Nick

Hi Nick, I use DDR in Ashtead, Surrey.

Mercedes Service and Repair Specialist in Epsom Surrey

Have them service my CLS63 and have done some work on my partners SL as well. Really know their stuff and can update the digital service book as well.

They're only five minutes from junction 9 on the M25. Hope that helps. :)

AMC Wandsworth / Tooting

Hi,
Please if someone can help me with a good Mercedes specialist in South London . :D

I've used AMC London for ten years or so. They're Mercedes and BMW specialists and really know their stuff. They run ten bays and all their guys, who are older than average, are Mercedes or BMW trained.

These are people who know the faults and issues, who know where to look for trouble, how to fix it economically and how to explain and relate to their customer.

However.... you'll need to talk to them about how their price relates to what you've been quoted. My guess is that it won't save you that much, but you'll find out more when you call them.

If you want to save yourself more, just go for an oil change from Halfords, or a guy operating out of a local lock up. He won't do the bits and pieces (filters etc), and he won't spot the issues or suggest things like topping up the air con, but he will stamp the book.

You can argue it either way: if the car's reliable, who cares? Will the next buyer care? Not much, resale is more about stamped book than who stamped it. But if you want your own car to be reliable and not to break down or wear out, this year or in a future year, a few bob on preventative maintenance is money well spent.

I have used AMC for 20 years since they originally started with BMWs. Some of their staff have been there since they started and know what they are talking about. They tell it like it is and are reasonably priced.

They kept my CLK running for the past four years at minimal cost.

I would thoroughly recommend them

James Leigh in Wimbledon. Know what they are are doing and aren't too costly. I've used them several times and not been disappointed yet.
