Im happy with the "P" "D" and "1" and "2" - im not happy with the "R" and have not got the slightest clue where to start on the "3" and "4" so any help would be really appreciated

regards

Brett

Have a look here.

It would seem the Monolith Bold font is pretty close. Follow the link, click on the 'Try Font' tab and type in PRND 4321. That will give you an idea of how to form the characters you mention.

You've got an AMG branded knob? Really?

I've heard of dedication to the marque but that's taking it to extremes :D.

Cheers,

Gaz

Cheers Stratman - Helpful, anyone know how you do a screen grab nowadays ??

Always a joker on board :) !!!

Here you go, the key is to keep them all within the same size.

I get my stuff from these guys, dunno whether they would do sills as they generally only do dials and they are not the actual laser cutting people they are more the designers really but worth an email

Be warned though it is a slow process and not cheap ! :)

thanks, worth a phone call. did get in touch with a welsh firm and still waiting. might be who these use. i see they do a lot of etching which is a lot easier and cheaper. but i defo want cuts.

or maybe you can have the right hand leg of the R moved over to the left a little..? So the fot of it runs in line with the top of the R body. Instead of sticking out a little bit...?

Nice. Is it too late to ask for ALL the numbers to be in AMG font? :D

never too late, just need someone to do the 3,5,6,8 and zero for me (hint hint :) )

The AMG will cover the ESP warning light in it's current location I would have though?
might need to bring it down methinks...

I can do the other letters for you tomorrow if you like (on my iPod at the mo.
