Any idea what this plug is?

    Looking in my engine bay today and I noticed a spare plug hanging around, loocated next to the Aircon top up area:

    Any idea's what its from? there wasnt anything near it to plug it into?

    Plug for the front bumber temperature sensor perhaps?

    Nah, it doesnt appear to have anything near it to plug into. + the temp sensor is working fine...

    Is it near the abs unit i can see the aircon window

    Its on the other side of the Aircon window than the ABS unit, and alot lower.

    hi just went out too the car i have the same connector not plugged in any thing thing but it was taped to the ac loom section sorry i could not help more

    Thanks for checking, I thought it looked like it had popped out of the loom :)

    Maybe is for climate control which I dont have (maybe you dont either?)

    This may not help, but... on my Vauxhall Omega, I had something similar, a plug at the end of wire that did not connect to anything (the car was new). After some investigation I discovered it was intended for the heated windscreen nozzle jets option, which my car did not have - apparently GM decided to fit the wiring anyway, presumably it was easier to just have one standard loom.

    So what I am saying is that if no one can come up with a reasonable explanation, it may be a connector for an option the car does not have.

    There is always extra plugs lying around on the wiring looms mate, just ignore it :thumb:
