Any keyboard players?

I've been mooching around trying to find the answer to a query - most of my keyboard player contacts use Korg and Yamaha gear....

Anyway - I've got a couple of gigs depping for the guitarist, and the band are supposed to be supplying me with the tracks so that I can rehearse. Had a call from the keyboard player today who said that he has all the midi files that they produced but they are all on his Roland G70. He's whinging and moaning about having to pull the files off (especially as I think he's getting the heave-ho soon) and it sounds like it's going to be a PITA to get him to do anything.

So what I want to know is can I go down to his place with a laptop and USB cable and download the midi files? Or failing that, something like an SD card or USB memory stick? Once I've got the midi files I can go from there.

Looks like Memory is up to 50mB and is compatible with either a standard USB memory stick or compact flash card.
