yup windows and roof all sorted.. feeling so good to have the old girl happy..

i was advised by Danny that i need to put mileage on her.. so i intend to take her on a trip some time this summer after the wedding :)

Cleaning the carpets at the moment Boss. Driver's chair is out and I am having a good look at how they all go together. May have a solution to my problem with the seat lined up once I figure what bits can be swapped around.

Rainbow speakers are just around the corner, Leatherique & Renovo are ordered, Blue got a cracking cut and polish form the MB approved Panel Shop in Auckland.
Dent man is around this afternoon to get three minor deviations sorted so she is die straight again.

Still on the hunt for a mint factory fitted wood leather steering wheel. I have an MB new one but they are not the same as what was fitted by the factory, close though. If anybody wants to swap I am up for it - it is genuine and in the MB box, brand new.

Put an enquiry out about a new set of wheels, just like the originals form Alloys Direct. Freight is a killer so if there is anybody out there who can lend a hand freight wise I sure would appreciate it.

Still got to get all the rear rubber fitted, it is all sitting here in a huge pile.

Having a chat with MB Classic Centre re how much for them to rebuild my tranny. They want me to talk directly to the Dealer here - who think I am mad to consider the Classic Centre. I just want it done properly, silky smooth, no issues, that's all.


Apart from that she is still a cracker to drive. All the above sounds bad but I am just such a fussy little bgr.........

Of course Green is just sitting there all jealous of the attention Blue is getting. She's been out for her monthly coffee though, lovely tight car.......:):)

In a month or two I might start looking for a new Contract just to make sure the funds are replenished sufficiently, but that’s about it really cobber.
