Any plans for a A Class PHEV ?

Mercedes did say they will expand plug in hybrid (not exactly PHEV) to the entire range.

They only have one PHEV (B Class) so I guess they'll see how it does first before expanding?

I would LOVE to see an A Class PHEV though!

The b class isn't a PHEV as it's pure electric no internal combustion engine, at the moment only the C350e and S500e.

I'd guess that either a PHEV or Electric will be offered in the A class at some stage as hybrids become more popular.

One possible hybridisation snag is that the conventionally powered A an B class use a different type of automatic transmission [ essentially a twin clutch manual box] compared to the 7G transmisions in the C, E and S - Not a problem that would present itself in the all electric B class of course .
