Any tips Cleaning beige car mats...quickly

Hi,

Want to clean my car mats tonight, but i don't want them to get soaking wet as I'll need to use them quite promtly.

Was thinking just a hoover, and then using a bit of Arial Washing Liquid/or Flash All Purpose to get out stubborn stains?

Don't have time to buy any fancy detailing stuff.

Thoughts?

Hire a carpet shampoo machine, the ones with.a hand tool.
But even with a good machine they will be slightly damp

I find the spray on foaming carpet/fabric cleaners work quite well.
