I have been slight changing my car gradually from standard. (grill, wheels) for the first time in years... and now I have an itch to lower it.
I've read some people say the h&r super sports springs are great and drop about 45mm and need the 5mm pads for rear of the car but ride quality is massively changed (I understand this and that's Ok as long as it doesn't rub and isn't horrifically uncomfortable) I have a 25 mile motorway/A-Road commute each way everyday so this is a daily driver. Eibach and H&R pros appear to be the compromise but I've read they will literally only drop the car about 15mm from my current 'sports' suspension.
Its worth noting too, I fitted 19" E class coupe alloys to the car (ET48) this week. I want to keep these on and not rub but still lower a touch (30mm maybe), I've got a little stretch in the tyre (225/35/19 and 245/35/19) to aid/prevent this.
Any thoughts or pointers?
