Absolutely no connection or experience with these people, but they are selling some nice MB alloys (new) at some very good prices IMHO.

These ones look like very good value, and so do these.

As I said, nothing to do with me, but just thought it might help somebody. :)

Cheers,

Will

bloody good deal!!

no point refurbishing these types of alloys!!!

I was in touch with Chris Murray last week. Likewise, I have no affiliation but he was incredibly helpful. He will try obtain alloys on request, and I would have gone with him had I not found them in stock elsewhere.

Prices seem very good but it makes you wonder in the back of your mind where they have really sourced them from, and if there are some small defects (just that I always beleive that if somethings sounds too good to be true then to walk away). Perhaps they are seconds straight from the manufacturer therefore making them ill-eligible to be sold at the Stealers?

Maybe very, very 'critical' seconds, or perhaps wheels that have been refurbished to 'as new' (often better than new!), or wheels that have come off brand new cars from a main dealer to be swapped at customer's request or for for showroom models showing 'optional' wheel packages?!?

Who knows, but if they are new/as new condition starting from £250/set for genuine OEM 17" wheels, who can argue? :)

Cheers,

Will

:) - I absolutely agree with u mate.

I was talking to a MB approved bodyshop a while back and the Director of the bodyshop (who is hevaily involved i teh day to day running) said that the lacquer they apply is different one that MB/manufacturer uses and therefore the smoothness of the finish on the alloy would be different to the OEM (but that is minior as no one would know this or feel/tich your alloy wheels apart from yourself wheh washing/cleaning them.

One thing that I hate about OEM MB Alloys is that the manufacturer never properly/completely sprays/paints the areara around the not housing on wider track wheels.

R2D2 has got those Mirzams and I think they look great on his 202 :)

I fancy some 17" oem w210 rims I saw a few years ago in the stealership, never seen them on a car IRL though, just some fat, polished 5-spokes. Might get a stealership quote then try those guys, see if they've seen any :)

Must be a 'man' thing :)

peopel always look at me stangely when they see my thorougly washing my alloys with sponge (inside and out0and drying them after with big blue tissue roll/paper).

It is the wheels that make any car - I still quite like my electras but the newe AMGs I have are nice too :D

for the rest of my family the wheel of a car is basically a round metal thing at each corner of the car which you wrap a tyre around every few years and which helps you to find the kerb when parking

It's normally a look of total terror when I'm informed that my car was parked on the road by my mum so she could get her own car out.
