Anyone give me a value on this please?

Got one of these as a possible p/x and wanted a couple of oppinions as to where to price it.

1994 C280 Elegance Auto, doctor + 1 lady since 2002. Full History, part MB rest specialist.

Digital Climate, Electric Roof, Windows & Mirrors. All books and 1st aid kit.

114,000 Miles, car is totally immaculate inside and out apart from 1 stonechip touch-up and wear to the MB overmats.

Colour is ruby-red metallic with oatmeal cloth interior.

Any ideas hugely appreciated from you guys.

Jon, there is a 96 C280 on Autotrader at £1390 with 107k miles, trade sale. I'd have a look on there, and perhaps make a phone call or two, to see how long they've been on the market?

Sounds like a ~£1500 car to me, assuming 12 months MoT.

Some people will say it trades at virtually nothing etc. But in reality, if it's really clean with no rust and drives superbly/no faults etc it'll fetch a premium - people are generally willing to pay a little extra for really well cared for MBs.

I assume there's no rust, the air con works properly, and there's no oil leaks etc on the engine etc etc...

£1500 or maybe £2000 if it's really, really nice

With that engine, & that mileage, i'd have thought £1250 as a private selling price,cant see a dealer wanting to pay more than £600 for it. You're probably better off selling it on e-bay, & then negotiate a cash discount for your replacement.
