Anyone in Aberdeen that can checkout a car for me?

Is there a member in Aberdeen that can check out a car that I looking to buy for me?
I won the bid on ebay but then found out the name of the garage that has been carrying out the service work for the past few years.

This started to ring alarm bells, as its the same garage that had service my SL500 SilverArrow before I bought it. They had changed the spark plugs and the car was running very badly less than 500 miles after the service. My local indy found the plugs were not the correct ones and several of the HT leads had been damaged.

Am I wrong to be doubting the condition of the car?

probably unfair to judge based on one car (that could have been messed with elsewhere too?) but if anyone is nearby it would save a long trip!

I know what your saying, but they had actually fitted the wrong bosch plugs, and when I called them they said they were a bosch authorised agent.
