Anyone interested in a nice W126?
A friend on mine has a 420SEL that I'm going to probably be selling for him
He bought it from someone who he knew, who's father had passed away. It had prior to this had a good overhaul of the ignition system - new EZL unit, leads, cap and rotor, plugs etc. ££££ spent if I recall.
Anyway - it's a 1989 F-plate, in Nautic blue with grey leather, electric seats, 15-hole alloy wheels etc. Body on it is actually very clean looking from what I remember, very good as these goes and no rust at all that I can recall under the parcel shelf etc which if you know about 126s is rare
He put a year's MOT on it back in the summer and just hasn't been using it (has a few cars). So about 6 months or so remaining.
117k miles.
I think it's only had one or two owners from new.
I'll try and get it back over to mine sometime in the next few days and probably start cleaning it up a bit ready for sale if I have time, but thought I'd offer it on here first in case anyone was lurking and wanted a nice 126 for not a lot of cash.
Will have to double check exactly what he wants, but I think a sensible offer close to £1000 would secure it as it stands
