So I was driving around Lantau today and saw an old Ford looking sorry for itself. I saw the same car in the same space a year ago and it appears to not have moved an inch :(

Anyone know what car it is?

Thanks. I'll see if there's an owner lurking :)

Beware value

Cute car for sure, but revival is best left to the aficionados.

Ford produced millions of Ford A's so it's not worth much more than $10k when it's running - parts availability is easy, but engineers with that kind of expertise are rare.

Take a look at EBay.com to see the values.

Here's a flawless, fully restored one that sold for for just $12k

Driving this era of car is a challenge in itself. "Different times," as they say.

If you really want this kind of car, it would be far cheaper to buy a loved example from an elderly owner who has got bored with it.

You know what you're getting, and it works from day one, with no cost over-runs.
