There are three cases there, and it comes with a brief guide and a "facsimile" of 1888 The Times, so one has to find clues by reading an actual newspaper (see if you can explain that to a teenager).
It runs from the CD and should still be alright with modern Windows, I guess (no guarantee though - haven't used that OS for ages). If I remember correctly, it only needs a DOS prompt.
