I can't recall if it's JP Garage or JP Motors, but they're by Hampton Court Palace. They are German car specialists. Does anyone have anything, good or bad, to say about them?

Hi Stratman,

Yep they are just up the road from me. Excellent, honest and friendly little garage. There prices are excellent, and they have never let me down yet ( I have used them for about 4 years!)

Smallish type establishment (about 3 ramps, maybe 1/2 dozen employees), but the only slight snag is that parking is a little tricky sometimes (it is right opposite the palace and next to Bushey Park!). This has never been a real problem though, but just be aware of it.

If anybody locally asks me to recommend a garage fo anything German (or sometimes otherwise) then I generally send them there!

Most of there customers seem the same as me, ie, they have a good relationship with the staff there, and obviously use them a lot!

What I like most is that they are prompt and efficient. Ie, if you book your car in and ask to have a certain list of jobs done, when you pick it up, they have been done! I know this may sound silly, but I can recall in the past, and from others, of how many incompetent garages there are around, you end up chasing them the whole time and never get the job done properly.

Anyway, I am not sure what you need done to your car, but give them a call, or pop down and see them for yourself if you are local!

Let us know how you get on,

Cheers,

Will

Thanks Will. Being a Sunbury resident, I know only too well the parking problems! I have driven past them on countless occasions on my way to Kingston and HCP Golf Club, and was curious about their quality. Being so close seemed to be too good to be true!

I'll certainly give them a try, as my C180 is now 8 years old, and beyond main dealer service prices :-)

Tahnhks again,
DD

What on Earth are 'Tahnhks'?

Probably an Old English form of thanks ;-)
