Anyone know how to clean / repair a kodak 3250 print head

Hi, my kodak all in one 3250 printer will not print in black, colours ok, I have tried a new genuine cartridge, gone through all the usual stuff guided by the printer ie cleaning and resetting etc, also washed out the print head with meths and blew it out with an air line and dried it out , the fault still persists.
Ebay is full of these printers needing a new print head, surely it can't be scrap, would soaking over night in water ruin it or fix it?
Any helpfull suggestions would be great.
