Does anyone know of the car? Price seem ok or to much?

Sorry, don't know the car, but 20k seems a bit pricey to me. I've seen a 2008 one for 18k recently.

It's been advertised by them since at least early December so that suggests the price is a bit high. I'm fairly sure the photos on their Autotrader ad in December were the very same ones, so the sunshine and leaves on the trees is very likely from last year, not this year, i.e. taken 7+ months ago! I'm never sure why some traders hold stock so long, it seems a waste of their capital.

Will find out tomorrow, there is nothing else on the market like this so not a lot of choice.

However I will be driving the sale hard as the car has fell out of merc warranty going by advert and due a yearly service.

Are 2006 Mercs due a yearly service or only as indicated? I know it changed at some point.

About £5k overpriced, you can buy W212s now for £20k.

These W211 E63s take an age to sell; I know of one member on here that part exchanged his mint one in about a year ago and the last time I looked the same trader still had it for sale.

Shame the don't show the reg - you can then check the MoT history and get a sense of how well it has been looked after.

It needed discs and pads all round, service and rear tyres.

Service history was excellent to be fair.

So approx 25k worth of work for me to pa for a few months down the line.

They will include the service but that's it so walked away.

People say they are not worth the 20k, problem is there are no there for sale under 20k which are not nails :-(

I've owned one four years ago so know my round one quite well, spec was ok just rung the reg through mercs warranty website, pulled the vin and used a decoder.

Don't want one with 100k on the clock.

This one only has around 60k on the clock, and is just as overpriced as the initial one at £20k, but at least the miles are less.

Online. I was nosing at the prices of AMGs in that particular model.
There is a stunning black saloon on EBay. Even the wife is impressed.

My wife said "ooh, I can see that on the drive" just as the salesman got within earshot .

It was real hard work to get a decent deal after that.

^^I don't think my wife quite knows what an AMG is all about.
She's fine with the Porsche because it is what it is, but she liked the AMG because it's black, it's got tinted glass and twin exhausts.
