Anyone Know where this is physically located?

HELP!!, ive been told i need to replace this part (#495 on the diagram), so ive got it but where the hell is it physically located? ive been told its behind the stereo, but only a circular cover which hides some gearing, and a 3 pronged sensor thing!

any ideas welcome!

the evaporator is usually just about the hardest thing to get at on any car - I think they build the car around them and the heater matrix

Looking at those diagrams, I'd guess that it is between the bulkhead and the heater box.

If it's just a unit you need to plug in - can you get at it by removing the side trim from the passenger footwell?

Thanks Andy, looks like i might have the wrong part then, oops!

i needed the tempreture control sensors which works with the control dials (one for each control dial ive been told)

might have to start a new thread asking for the correct one!
