I been sent a comand unit with PN A2038270062, anyone recognise it as i cant see it on merc upgrades list of part numbers....cheers..
Anyone recognise this comand part number??

Is there any other Numbers on it like BE6091?

It says on the side, BE 6094, A 164 820 0979, A 203 827 0062.......It visually is a comand APS in very good condition with full screen etc and green input on back with video button etc on front.....
The part number is A 164 820 0979 which is for a ML/GL
The A203 part number is that of the internal AGW

(edit) It is a DVD based unit, was fitted until mid 07 when the part number changed, but will go in any pre MY2009 ML or GL

Had me stumped on this as well.
But he said on another thread that it was installed fine so all would appear fine

Yep, I know.
I've seen a couple of comand units like this. It basically means the unit has been made up out of parts from at least two other comand units.
The advantages of having a W164 body is that you could in theory add rear entertainment, reversing camera and of course TV.

Quick update......Unit works fine but has slight dead pixel right in the bottom right hand corner. The seller said he will exchange the unit for another one but he also asked about me keeping it for partial refund....Anyone know if the pixel can get worse or a reason not to keep it?? Cheers.....
