Anyone seen any good number plates on cars lately?

Is ML 55 AMG a genuine number?

Regards
John

It'll be M155 AMG John - the M155s have been kept back because they're "miss" :).

It also happens to be conveniently L-shaped for our and his purposes (albeit lowercase).

M9CHO on an Audi R8 in wimbledon this morning. Looked like MACHO.

I have to be honest Malcolm , and please don't take this the wrong way ...

Any car logo on the numberplate of any car cheapens it .... the car has badges on it indicating its a Mercedes , why add another ?

Akin to swapping the normal grille for the dreaded ' BIG Star ' IMO ...

Sorry :( :o

No you have a very good point, and I thank you for that,, I am always careful with a house not to have more the 2 colours or more than 2 different materials.

Thank you I will get replacements made up :):)

I do like the 3D ( black and grey ) lettering though .... :)

The plate F1 sold for over £440,000 in Jan this year!
Story
Mac.
Edit. Noticed it has already been mentioned a few pages back Doh!
Did a search on F1 before posting but search string was too small to use.
Sorry.

unusal number plates

Hello out there, just been reading this thread and thought I'd contribute. I live in Kendal on the edge of the Lake District, and a few years ago (actually about 10 or 12!!) I saw a maroon Jag' driving into a hotel car park and it's number plate was simply 7. I didn't get a look at the driver. Also I'm sure I used to see the snooker player Willie Thorne around these parts driving a black merc' with the plate A147 PRO. This is my first time ever contributing to a forum, but I find reading it very intresting and helpful. I have an immaculate polar white C220 sport which I shall be posting pics of soon. Regards to all.... Jeff

Hi Jeff, Welcome & thanks for your contribution - the first of many I am sure, once you get the bug. Look forward to seeing your car pics.

Saw UDB7 ...... on an Aston Green Bently continental 4 door ..... M55 near Blackpool

That "big star" might have a clandestine use. Often used to hide laser detectors behind.
Of course I am not suggesting for one second that Malcolm would need such a device....

2 BE (or not 2 BE) on a new Aston Martin (don't know which one - they all look the same to me! :o ) in Bayswater.

That big star on Malcolm's grille is a painted star because behind it is his distronic.

How about this - waiting to pull out of a junction a gorgeous R8 came round the bend, not quickly which meant I could have a damn good stare :D . In fact, the driver was so kind he slowed down to let me pull out. Number plate - R8 AUD.

Mind you, I was in Mattc's E320 coupe which is beautiful, so I guess he was letting the quality go first, so he could drool over the Merc! ;)
