Is ML 55 AMG a genuine number?
Regards
John
Thanks both of you and fik olde me should have figured tghat out. It'll be M155 AMG John - the M155s have been kept back because they're "miss".
It also happens to be conveniently L-shaped for our and his purposes (albeit lowercase).
That star on the numberplate really cheapens the vehicle doesn't it ?![]()
I have to be honest Malcolm , and please don't take this the wrong way ...
Any car logo on the numberplate of any car cheapens it .... the car has badges on it indicating its a Mercedes , why add another ?
Akin to swapping the normal grille for the dreaded ' BIG Star ' IMO ...
Sorry![]()

I do like the 3D ( black and grey ) lettering though ....![]()
Hello out there, just been reading this thread and thought I'd contribute. I live in Kendal on the edge of the Lake District, and a few years ago (actually about 10 or 12!!) I saw a maroon Jag' driving into a hotel car park and it's number plate was simply 7. I didn't get a look at the driver. Also I'm sure I used to see the snooker player Willie Thorne around these parts driving a black merc' with the plate A147 PRO. This is my first time ever contributing to a forum, but I find reading it very intresting and helpful. I have an immaculate polar white C220 sport which I shall be posting pics of soon. Regards to all.... Jeff

That "big star" might have a clandestine use. Often used to hide laser detectors behind.
Of course I am not suggesting for one second that Malcolm would need such a device....
